Nicholas Grider is an artist, writer and curator. He is the author of Misadventure, (A Strange Object, 2014) and Thirty Pie Charts (Gauss PDF, 2014). Other writing has appeared in Conjunctions, Caketrain, The Collagist, Guernica, DIAGRAM, Hobart, Drunken Boat and elsewhere. He has exhibited artwork internationally, most notably in solo shows at The Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena, Human Resources in Los Angeles, and INOVA in Milwaukee. Nicholas is also the proprietor of two downloadable pdf magazines, Public Access (writing) and Public Display (photography) including work by CalArts alums Joe Milazzo, Danielle Adair, Janice Lee, Laura Vena, and Eric Lindley alongside writing by figures such as Laura Elrick, Kevin Killian, Vanessa Place, CalArts faculty Jen Hofer, and Rob Halpern, among others. Grider also works as a book reviewer for HTMLGIANT, Heavy Feather Review, Lemon Hound, and contributes to the new lit/culture magazine, Entropy.
