Carol Treadwell is a writer currently living and working in Oakland, California. Her first novel, Spots and Trouble Spots, was published by Seismicity Editions. Her short story, The Museum of Contemporary Art was published in book form by Cloverfield Press. Her writing has also appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the anthology Unnatural Disasters, Yolk magazine, artcommotion, and elsewhere. Her BA in Art Practice is from UC Berkeley. Her MFA in Writing is from CalArts.
